We are always seeking new ways in which these ancient tools can be put to new use. So, whether you are a school, a community group, a business, or an individual, if you are interested in working with stories, get in touch to see how we can help. Below are just some examples of what BLABBERMOUTH can offer
PERFORMANCES
STORYTELLING
Dan is available for hire for both public and private events, for which he can tailor a bespoke performance, themed to suit your needs. Get in touch to discuss your requirements.
THE STORY-TENT
A perfect supplement to storytelling performances The BLABBERMOUTH STORYTENT is perfect for public and community events and festivals. A 5m bell-tent, decorated with rugs, cushions, bunting and fairy-lights, the storytent provides a safe, cosy space for a range of story-based creative craft activities, including storyboarding, map-making, puppetry and our giant story-dice game. The tent also provides a great wet-weather option for storytelling performances. Contact us to find out more.

WORKSHOPS
BLABBERMOUTH's storytelling and storymaking workshops use traditional tales as a starting point for community building and personal development. Workshops can be bespoke, tailored to your specific requirements. Here are some examples:
NO MORE HEROES
Traditional hero narratives are ingrained in our imagintion and, as a result, in our relationship with our own lives and the wider world. But what happens when there are no heroes to fix our problems. This workshop up-ends traditional narratives to explore the power of communities working together to discover communal solutions to their problems.
STORYTELLING FOR CONFIDENCE
This workshop series adapts the skills and techniques of the storyteller to help participants develop your self confidence.
VOLUNTEER TRAINING
Dan has many years experience working with and training volunteer groups across the heritage sector. These sessions bring that experience to the fore, applying the power of stories in creating an engaged and confident volunteer force - suitable for any organisation with volunteers engaging directly with the general public. Contact us to discuss how BLABBERMOUTH can enhance your public offer.
