MINEHEAD:
A HISTORY OF PLACE
Blabbermouth has been commissioned by Minehead and Coast Development Trust, to lead its Minehead: A History of Place project.
The Project aims to uncover and share stories that reveal the character of Minehead - particularly narratives that might not appear in conventional histories - and which explore themes of community, connection and resilience, from the earliest times to the present day. The results of this research will then be published as a digital book.
Along with researching hisoric and folkloric tales, Dan is keen to hear from anyone with a story, memory or personal reflection they would be happy have recorded for posterity. He will be popping up at various locations around Minehead to collect tales old and new. If you have a story to share, you can find Dan at the following locations:
Blenheim Gardens – Sunday 26th July; 1-3pm
Wellington Square – Thursday 30th July; 1-3pm
Minehead Harbour – Thursday 6th August; 1-3pm
Minehead Bay Festival – Saturday 29th August
Just pop along and say hello! Alternatively, you can share your story using the online form here: https://www.mineheadandcoast.org.uk/minehead-history-of-place/
