Alongside regular storytelling events, BLABBERMOUTH is dedicated to exploring the potential of traditional stories and storytelling in building resilient communities, providing opportunities for reconnecting with nature, improving personal well-being, and  celebrating cultural diversity.

Dan has over a decade of professional experience telling traditional stories, folktales and local legends to audiences across South West England, in settings ranging from museums and schools to village halls and pubs, and site-specific storywalks immersed in nature. He holds a BSc in Archaeology and MA in Ecology and Spirituality. In 2025 he received High Commendation in the Council for British Archaeology's Marsh Award for Community Archaeologist of the Year
